Descrizione del dritto	The right half of the obverse is dominated by an intaglio vignette of a young African woman in three-quarter profile facing left, her head elaborately wrapped in a decorative headdress interwoven with tropical foliage rendered in multicolour. To the left, two stylized antelope heads are set against a dense geometric guilloche underprint in green, gold, and ochre tones, with a large blank oval at centre reserved for the watermark. Denominations "10 000" appear at upper left and upper right, with the issuing authority "RÉPUBLIQUE POPULAIRE DU CONGO" across the top and "DIX MILLE FRANCS" along the lower border.

Descrizione del rovescio	The left portion of the reverse carries a multicolour agricultural vignette showing a group of workers loading bunches of bananas and other tropical produce onto a flatbed truck, with additional figures in traditional dress gathered around an abundance of fruit on the ground. The right side is bordered by lush tropical vegetation including palm fronds, coconuts, and pineapples, flanking a central blank oval. A decorative frieze of stylised motifs runs along the lower border, and a legal warning against counterfeiting appears in French at the lower left.
