| Descrição do reverso | The central vignette presents the Menara Pavilion in Marrakech, its green-tiled roof reflected in the still waters of the basin, set against a backdrop of the Atlas Mountains, rendered in fine intaglio engraving with a warm blue and ochre palette. Flanking the pavilion on the left is an ornate Moorish arcade with polychrome tilework, while an arched architectural surround at top frames the Arabic inscription giving the bank name and denomination. Three manuscript signatures appear at the lower centre beneath their respective Arabic title designations, with the engravers' credits A. MAILLART FEC. and J. PIEL – G. POILLIOT SC. at the lower margins. |
