Opmerkingen

Tipografija d.d. was a regional printing house in Đakovo, a small town in Slavonia, not a state mint or security printer. That a commercial typography firm issued its own denominated notes speaks directly to the collapse of reliable currency supply in the region — almost certainly during the hyperinflationary chaos of early 1920s Yugoslavia or the disruptions of the immediate post-WWI period, when local businesses and municipalities routinely issued emergency scrip to keep commerce moving.

The issuer and printer being identical is the key detail: this is self-issued notgeld, carrying only as much authority as the firm's local credibility.
