The Narodna Banka Srpske Republike Bosne i Hercegovine had a brief and chaotic institutional life — this note was issued in the early months of the Bosnian War, when the Republika Srpska was printing its own currency in parallel with the collapsing Yugoslav dinar system. The printer credit is worth attention: ZIN in Belgrade supplied the notes, but "Printed: Banja Luka" in some references reflects the political claim of the issuing authority rather than confirmed press location — ZIN did not operate a Banja Luka facility.
Hyperinflation rendered denominations like this one obsolete within months of issue.
