Bolivia's wartime economy ran on commodity windfalls — tin exports boomed under Allied demand, and the government found itself managing unusual monetary expansion rather than contraction. The 10,000 Bolivianos denomination reflects that inflationary pressure already building through the mid-1940s, before it became catastrophic in the following decade.
