Beschrijving keerzijde Printed in green on white stock, the reverse carries the denomination 'ZEHN MILLIONEN MARK' in bold sans-serif capitals across the top panel. A central circular vignette, surrounded by ribbon scrollwork and a guilloche wave underprint, bears the legend 'ABTEILUNG NIEDERRHEINISCHE HÜTTE · DUISBURG-HOCHFELD ·' around an industrial scene of a furnace or ladle with molten metal. Flanking numerals '10' appear at left and right, and a bold lower panel reads 'EISENWERK KRAFT'; a two-line text in Fraktur script below the central vignette advises the bearer to use the note as a means of payment rather than immediately redeeming it at a bank.

Opmerkingen

Notgeld issued by the ironworks division of Eisenwerk Kraft at its Niederrheinische Hütte facility in Duisburg-Hochfeld, this piece dates to the hyperinflationary peak of 1923, when Reichsmark denominations were climbing so fast that industrial firms across the Ruhr printed their own emergency wage notes simply to meet weekly payroll. Eisenwerk Kraft was itself operating under severe pressure during this period — the French and Belgian occupation of the Ruhr beginning in January 1923 had paralyzed coal and steel output throughout the region.

The thick, stiff paper stock is characteristic of hastily sourced industrial printing runs rather than purpose-made banknote paper.
