| Obverse description | Orange and dark blue Notgeld printed in letterpress on plain paper, with the word 'Gutschein' set vertically in bold Gothic script along the left margin. The central vignette carries an orange underprint of stylised industrial and architectural motifs — towers and arched structures suggestive of the Bochumer Verein steelworks — over which the denomination 'Zehn-Millionen Mark' is printed in large black Fraktur type. Below the vignette, a three-line redemption clause in small Roman type gives the place and date 'Bochum, den 1. August 1923', followed by the issuer's name in a highlighted orange band; at the foot, a row of oval guilloche cartouches bears the numeral '10', flanked on either side by manuscript authorisation signatures and an alphanumeric serial number. |

| Reverse description | Plain cream paper reverse printed in black Fraktur typeface only, without any vignette or coloured underprint. Two paragraphs of text advise the bearer that the voucher has monetary value and must be treated with the same care as cash, and that the holder bears sole responsibility for any loss; a second clause states that the note loses validity upon expiry of the period named on the face and will not thereafter be redeemed. The issuer's name is repeated in a centred display line at the foot of the text block, above faint blind-stamp impressions. |
