Opmerkingen

German municipal authorities were authorized to issue emergency currency — Notgeld — during the hyperinflation of 1923, and Fürth's Stadtkasse was among hundreds of civic bodies that printed locally rather than wait for Reichsbank notes that were depreciating faster than they could be distributed. By the time denominations reached eight figures, the printing schedule mattered more than the design: notes issued days apart could represent entirely different purchasing power.

The 10,000,000 Mark denomination places this squarely in the late summer of 1923, before the November stabilization and the introduction of the Rentenmark ended the emergency series entirely.
