| Obverse description | Typographically composed Notgeld cheque note printed in olive-green and black on plain white paper, with a fine guilloche underprint forming the background field. The denomination "Mr. 10.000.000.-" is set in Gothic script at upper right, with the serial number at upper left. The central text body, rendered in a mix of blackletter and roman typefaces, instructs the Ederkreisbank A.-G. zu Bad Wildungen to pay ten million Mark from the account of the Stadt Bad Wildungen to the bearer. The issue date "Bad Wildungen, den 20. September 1923" and the issuing authority "DER GEMEINDEVORSTAND" appear in the lower register, accompanied by an official municipal blind stamp and three manuscript signatures. The printer's imprint "Paul Pusch, Bad Wildungen" appears at lower left. |
