Below the denomination, three lines of small Gothic text state the legal validity clause, followed by the date "Aachen, den 20. Juli 1923" and two manuscript signatures beneath the titles "Der Oberbürgermeister" and "Der Vorsitzende des Kreisausschusses", each flanked by circular official seals bearing an eagle device; the printer's imprint "AUG.
