The Republic of Serbian Krajina was an unrecognized breakaway state carved from Croatian territory during the Yugoslav wars, and its currency reflected that precariousness. By 1994, hyperinflation had rendered denominations of this magnitude nearly worthless within weeks of issue — the same trajectory that had already destroyed the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia's dinar and would soon force Serbia's own emergency redenomination.

ZIN in Belgrade printed this series, which tells you something about where real authority over the Krajina's monetary apparatus actually resided. The RSK ceased to exist in August 1995 when Croatian forces overran the territory in Operation Storm.
