备注	Hungary's 1946 hyperinflation remains the most severe ever recorded — the daily inflation rate peaked at 207% in July of that year, rendering denominations obsolete within hours of printing. The 10 billion pengő note was produced but never formally issued; by the time the sheets came off the Magyar Pénzjegynyomda presses, the denomination had already been lapped by reality. Remainder examples exist without serial numbers or official signatures, pulled before completion of the issuing process. The pengő was replaced by the forint on 1 August 1946 at a rate of 400,000 quadrillion pengő to one forint.
