| Obverse description | Salmon-toned notgeld printed in dark ink on a fine guilloche underprint. The left margin carries a vertical ornamental border with the validity and district inscriptions; at centre, the denomination 'Zehn Milliarden' is set in large bold letterpress type, above a block of authorising text and the issue date 'Bonn, den 15. Oktober 1923'. To the right, an octagonal numeral vignette encloses the figure '10', while a red circular official seal of the Oberbürgermeister appears at lower centre alongside two manuscript facsimile signatures, one for the Lord Mayor and one for the Handelskammer Bonn. Series letter and red serial number are printed at upper right. |
