An intaglio vignette of the Gdynia seaport administrative building occupies the right half, captioned 'GDYNIA' below, printed over a multicolour guilloche underprint in blue, red, and orange geometric patterns.

At centre right, a large circular guilloche rosette frames a blank field, beside which the stylised 'NBP' monogram appears in script; the denomination '1' and 'JEDEN ZŁOTY' are positioned in the upper right, with 'NARODOWY BANK POLSKI' along the lower margin and a vertical legal tender inscription along the left edge.
