Reverse description Central design features a large numeral 1 enclosed within a raised circular border, with the word PRÓBA (meaning 'trial' or 'pattern') inscribed vertically on the face of the numeral, clearly identifying this as a pattern strike. Four wheat or rye ears radiate symmetrically from the central circle toward the cardinal points of the field. The word ZŁOTY is repeated three times around the periphery in a bold upright Latin typeface, arranged at the upper left, upper right, and lower center positions. The overall composition reflects the utilitarian socialist design aesthetic of mid-twentieth-century Polish coinage, engraved by Wacław Kowalik.
