The zlotnik is a pre-metric Ukrainian unit of weight historically equivalent to roughly 4.27 grams, revived here as a denomination name rather than a functional monetary unit — part of a broader Ukrainian mint program using archaic weight designations to give nature-themed brass issues a distinctly national character.
