Popis rubu	Standing frontal figure of the Virgin Mary (Santa Maria), depicted in long robes and nimbed, holding attributes consistent with Marian iconography of the late medieval period. The figure occupies the full height of the inner field and is rendered in a hieratic Gothic style typical of Swiss and Lombard ecclesiastical coinage of the late 15th century. A circular Latin legend surrounding the figure proclaims the dedication to the Holy Virgin. The composition closely parallels Marian types used on contemporary north Italian and Swiss ecclesiastical lordship issues. The flan is irregular, as expected for a hammered gold coin of this type.
