The arrangement follows the traditional Venetine zecchino reverse type, with Christ presented frontally in a hieratic Byzantine-influenced style. The reverse legend, split across both sides of the ellipse, contains the traditional votive inscription referencing Christ as the ruler under whose authority the duchy is given. |
