Obverse description The obverse displays a large crowned eagle displayed, wings spread, serving as the arms of the House of Savoy, with a central shield bearing the dynastic cross. The eagle is rendered in high relief in the Baroque style characteristic of the Turin Mint. A beaded inner border frames the design, with a second beaded border running along the coin's periphery. The circular legend surrounds the entire device, interrupted at the base by a small decorative element.
