The elaborate princely mantle is draped symmetrically on either side of the shield, surmounted by a coronet. The surrounding legend, divided across the field, reads S·R·I·PRINC·& BELMONTIS &c. with the date 1733 incorporated into the design. The overall composition is bold and ornate, consistent with baroque feudal heraldic engraving. |
