Obverse description Bare-headed and draped bust of Antonio Pignatelli facing right, rendered in high relief with finely detailed curling hair falling to the shoulder. A small drapery is visible at the truncation. The encircling legend reads ANTONIUS PIGNATELLI in raised Latin lettering, divided across the upper field. The portrait is executed in a refined baroque style typical of Italian feudal coinage of the early eighteenth century.

Reverse description Crowned and mantled heraldic shield bearing three urns or pots arranged two over one, representing the Pignatelli family arms. The elaborate princely mantle is draped symmetrically on either side of the shield, surmounted by a coronet. The surrounding legend, divided across the field, reads S·R·I·PRINC·& BELMONTIS &c. with the date 1733 incorporated into the design. The overall composition is bold and ornate, consistent with baroque feudal heraldic engraving.
