The inscription records the value as 7 Mace and 2 Candareens and identifies the coin as produced in Szechuan Province. The design is rendered in high relief with a beaded border at the rim. |

The dragon clutches a flaming pearl beneath its chin. Above the dragon, the legend SZECHUEN PROVINCE arcs along the upper periphery within a beaded border, while the denomination 7 MACE AND 2 CANDAREENS is inscribed along the lower arc. Two small rosette or six-pointed star ornaments serve as separators between the legend elements at the sides. |
