| Obverse description | Printed predominantly in red on a light ground, the face carries agricultural vignettes at left and right margins — peasant figures working the land amid trees and water — framing a central guilloche medallion with the large denomination characters 壹圓. The bank title 中國農民銀行 appears in bold Chinese characters at the top, with two serial numbers printed in the upper field. A rectangular panel at the foot bears the promise-to-pay and date inscriptions in Chinese. |
