| Beschrijving voorzijde | Printed in black and pale olive-green, the obverse carries a central vignette of a bridge at right with farmers at left against a lightly printed landscape underprint. The bank title in Chinese characters (西北農民銀行) is inscribed at top centre, with the denomination 壹圓 set within an ornate cartouche at centre. Serial number appears twice in red, with red seal impressions at lower left and right, and the issue date 民國二十九年 at bottom. |

A central vignette shows two steam ships at sea, with the denomination ONE YUAN inscribed above and the year 1940 at the bottom centre. Chinese characters 壹 appear at left and right within the border design. |
