Two manuscript signatures appear at lower centre, attributed to the Governor and Manager respectively, separated by a small official seal. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | Printed entirely in red on a cream ground, the reverse is dominated by three large interlocking guilloche rosettes of varying size arranged horizontally across the central field. The bilingual bank name BANK OF CHINA and its Cyrillic equivalent КИТАЙСКIЙ БАНКЪ head the note, with the promise-to-pay legend below; the denomination ONE DOLLAR and the inscription NATIONAL CURRENCY appear in the lower portion, flanked by the place-name HARBIN in Latin script at left and ХАРБИНЪ in Cyrillic at right. The date SEPTEMBER 1918 and the imprint AMERICAN BANKNOTE COMPANY are set at the foot of the note. |
