| Obverse description | Portrait of Sun Yat-sen in an oval vignette at right, rendered in intaglio against a blue guilloche underprint. The centre of the note bears the large denomination characters 壹圓 flanked by ornate floral guilloche panels, with the issuing authority 行銀央中 and series title 券元銀 inscribed across the top. Two red seal impressions appear at lower centre, with the date inscription 年八十三國民華中 running along the lower margin. |
