| Obverse description | Central vignette shows a farmer ploughing a field with a water buffalo beneath a large tree, framed by elaborate guilloche rosettes bearing the denomination 壹圓 on either side. The issuer name 中央銀行 appears in large characters at the top centre, with the place of issue 天津 (Tientsin) inscribed vertically on both flanks. Two facsimile signatures of bank officials appear at the lower centre, above the date inscription in Republic-era calendar notation along the bottom margin. |
