A large lathe-work oval panel at left serves as a security underprint background, while a floral guilloche rosette at right carries the numeral 1. The English bank title runs along the top, two facsimile signature panels appear in the lower border, and the date 1935 is set within a ruled panel at the foot above the printer's imprint. |
