The denomination 壹圓 (One Yuan) is rendered in large Chinese characters in ornate frames to the left and right of the central vignette, with the place name 天津 (Tientsin) inscribed in the upper and lower corners. The note is printed in green tones with a fine guilloche underprint, the bank title 交通銀行 appearing in Chinese at the top, and two red serial numbers printed above the vignette. |
