| Description de l’avers | The obverse is dominated by a central oval vignette containing a portrait of Sun Yat-sen in military attire, set against a decorative guilloche underprint in green and cream tones. The issuer's name 台灣銀行 (Bank of Taiwan) is inscribed vertically at centre top in large Chinese characters, with the denomination 壹圓 rendered in an ornate cartouche below the portrait. Two red seal impressions flank the central cartouche, and the serial number appears at both the top and bottom of the note, with corner numerals reading 壹 at each angle. |

Large red Chinese characters 大陳 appear on either side of the central design, indicating the note's regional validity for the Dachen Islands. |
