正面描述	Printed in black on white paper, the obverse carries a central oval intaglio vignette of an elderly bearded man in traditional headwear, positioned to the right. The large Chinese character denomination 壹圓 appears to the left of the portrait, flanked by ornate corner vignettes bearing the numeral 1. At upper center, the issuer's name in Chinese characters 朝鮮銀行 is inscribed, with additional Japanese text legends across the note. A red circular seal of the Bank of Chosen is applied to the lower left.

背面描述	Printed in green, the reverse is dominated by a central guilloche panel bearing the Latin-script denomination 1 YEN in large letters, surrounded by elaborate foliate scrollwork and interlocking vine ornaments. To the left, a large decorative rosette frame contains the Chinese character 壹圓. The issuer's name 朝鮮銀行券 is inscribed in Chinese characters across the top, and a floral vignette appears in the upper right corner.
