Obverse description Cast bronze cash coin with a central square perforation surrounded by a raised inner rim. Two Chinese characters, 豐貨 (Feng Huo), are arranged vertically in the fields to the left and right of the central hole, rendered in clerical script relief. The legends are bold and well-defined against the flat coin field. An outer rim encircles the periphery of the coin, consistent with the 'with rim' variety as catalogued by Hartill.
