| Obverse description | The State Emblem of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea occupies the central field, depicted in raised relief against a polished background. The emblem features Paektu Mountain framed by a red five-pointed star at its apex, with sheaves of rice bound by a ribbon forming the lower border.
