Reverse description Central field features a bold cross pattée with a small annulet or pellet at its center, dividing the field into four quarters, each containing a decorative element consistent with late medieval North German witten coinage. The cross is enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The circumferential legend in uncial Latin lettering reads +MONETA DE IEVARO I - E - V - R, referencing the mint town of Jever. The die is crudely engraved and the strike uneven, as is typical of hammered issues of this period and region.
