| Descrizione del rovescio | Large quartered coat of arms combining the heraldic devices of the Archbishopric of Cologne and the personal arms of Archbishop Rupert of the Palatinate. The principal shield is divided into quadrants displaying a cross for Cologne, a checky field for the Palatinate, and subsidiary escutcheons including a lion rampant and a shield with a cross, all set within a cusped heraldic frame. A small crowned orb or roundel appears at the top of the shield above a Gothic gable. The legend is inscribed around the periphery in Latin characters within a beaded border. |
