| Obverse description | Central field features a sinuous five-clawed imperial dragon rendered in high relief, coiling dynamically within a beaded inner circle. The legend 大朝鮮 開國四百九十五年 (Great Joseon, Gunguk Year 495) in Chinese characters and the Korean Hangul 일원 arc around the upper and lateral periphery between the beaded border and the outer dentilated rim. The denomination 1 WARN in Latin characters appears at the base of the design, flanked by a small floral ornament, all within a continuous outer beaded border. |

| Reverse description | Central field displays the large Chinese characters 一圜 (One Warn) enclosed within a beaded inner circle. Flanking the central cartouche are two graceful sprays of plum blossoms, the national flower of Joseon, extending from a tied ribbon ornament at the base. At the top of the field, above the beaded circle, appears a circular yin-yang-style symbol (taeguk emblem) set within a lined disc. The entire design is enclosed within a continuous outer beaded border, giving the reverse a refined and symmetrical heraldic character. |
