The quartered shield bears the dynastic arms of the House of Liechtenstein in full heraldic detail. A circular Latin legend surrounds the design, denoting the denomination and fineness standard of the Vereinsthaler coinage. The date 1862 appears in the lower portion of the field beneath the arms, and the entire design is bordered by a raised bead rim. |
