Reverse description The quartered coat of arms of the House of Reuss, displaying cranes and a lion in the quadrants, is set upon an elaborate ermine-lined mantle draped symmetrically to either side and tied with tasselled cords. The mantling is surmounted by a princely crown. The circumferential legend EIN VEREINSTHALER XXX EIN PFUND FEIN curves around the upper and lateral fields within the beaded border, while the date 1868 appears in the lower field beneath the shield.
