| Reverse description | The Nassau ducal coat of arms, depicting a crowned quartered shield charged with a lion passant, is displayed prominently at centre, supported on either side by two rampant lions acting as heraldic supporters, all resting on a decorative scrollwork base. A large royal crown surmounts the shield. The circular legend EIN VEREINSTHALER XXX EIN PFUND FEIN is disposed around the upper periphery, with the date 1863 appearing in the lower exergual area. The design is enclosed by a raised beaded border consistent with that of the obverse. |
