| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field features a rising or setting sun motif depicted as a semicircular arc with radiating lines extending both upward and downward, creating a stylized solar or wheel-like design. The rays are rendered in bold relief with triangular and linear segments arranged symmetrically around the central arc. The entire design is enclosed within a plain inner border, which is in turn surrounded by an outer beaded border of evenly spaced pellets running the full circumference of the coin. The overall composition is characteristic of the early Pyu city-state coinage tradition, executed in a robust hammered style. |
