Reverse description A large twelve-pointed star burst or sun-in-splendour radiates from the centre of the field, with alternating straight and wavy rays extending toward the inner circle. Four small cross pattée devices are positioned between the rays at the cardinal points. The bold, deeply struck radiate design fills the central field, framed by a beaded inner border and surrounded by the peripheral legend in uncial script.
