Obverse description A six-spoked wheel depicted in relief at the center of the flan, with a single pellet (value mark) placed within each of the spaces between the spokes. The wheel motif, a characteristic Etruscan type symbol, is rendered in a bold, archaic style consistent with Central Italian bronze coinage of the 3rd century BC. The design is contained within a plain raised border, and the surrounding field is flat and unadorned.
