| Obverse description | Central field dominated by a large, boldly rendered Persian calligraphic inscription in nasta'liq script, giving the name and epithet of Mohammad Shah Qajar. The inscription is framed by elaborate floral and foliate arabesques with grape-cluster motifs, rendered in high relief against a finely detailed background. A decorative arched border of intertwining vegetal scrollwork encircles the central legend, characteristic of Qajar-era hammered coinage. The overall composition reflects the ornate artistic conventions of the Tabriz mint during the reign of Mohammad Shah. |

| Reverse description | Central field bearing a multi-line Persian nasta'liq inscription recording the mint name and date of issue, arranged in sweeping calligraphic strokes. The legend is accompanied by decorative floral and foliate ornaments with dot-cluster accents, consistent with Qajar hammered gold coinage of the Tabriz mint. The inscription occupies the majority of the flan, with subsidiary vegetal decoration filling the surrounding field. The irregular flan edges and characteristic tool marks are typical of hand-struck Qajar gold tumans of this period. |
