Obverse description Bust of Mozaffar ad-Din Shah Qajar facing slightly right, wearing a tall karakul hat adorned with a jeweled aigrette and a military uniform richly decorated with medals and epaulettes. The portrait is rendered in a detailed, naturalistic style characteristic of late Qajar court art. Arabic inscriptions appear in the field to the right and left of the effigy, recording the regnal year and the mint date. The entire design is contained within a fine reeded border.

Reverse description Central field bears a four-line Arabic royal legend identifying the ruler, enclosed within a wreath of oak branches tied with a ribbon at the base. The wreath is finely detailed, with individual leaves rendered in high relief against the smooth field. The overall composition is symmetrical and follows the standard reverse design of Qajar gold coinage of this period. A plain inner circle frames the inscription, with the reeded border encircling the full design.
