The inscription fills the coin's face from edge to edge with characteristic Qajar calligraphic elegance, the strokes deeply struck into the gold flan. Small floral rosette ornaments punctuate the field at the cardinal points, serving as decorative dividers between the lines of text. The legends are enclosed within the natural irregular border of the hand-struck flan, consistent with hammered coinage of the Qajar period. |
