Obverse description The central field is occupied by a multi-line Persian calligraphic legend in bold nasta'liq script, arranged in two horizontal registers separated by a prominent horizontal stroke (shamseh divider). The upper register bears the royal title and dynastic attribution of Fath Ali Shah Qajar, while the lower register continues the regal epithet. The entire composition is framed by an elaborate floral and foliate border featuring stylized blossoms, berries, and scrolling vines in high relief, characteristic of Qajar gold coinage of the early 19th century.
