Reverse description Central field occupied by a large, boldly executed multiline Arabic legend in Nasta'liq script reading the royal titulature of Fath Ali Shah, filling the flan without a cartouche frame. The calligraphy is rendered in high relief with deeply cut strokes characteristic of Qajar hammered gold issues. The legend extends across the full diameter of the coin, with letters interlacing dynamically in the field. The coin lacks an inner border on this side, with the inscription reaching close to the irregular hammered edge.
