| Obverse description | Central field dominated by a bold multiline Arabic legend in flowing Nasta'liq script, contained within a rectangular cartouche framed by a beaded inner border. The uppermost arc of the cartouche bears an arched panel with additional calligraphic text. Below the cartouche, the AH date numerals appear prominently within a lobed, crescent-shaped lower panel. The entire design is encircled by a rope-and-bead decorative border, consistent with Qajar hammered gold coinage of the early nineteenth century. |
