Reverse description Central field bears a three-line Persian royal legend inscribed within an inner beaded circle: سلطان / احمد شاه قاجار / السلطان, identifying the ruler as Sultan Ahmad Shah Qajar, Sultan of Sultans. The denomination دو تومان (Two Tomans) is inscribed in the lower exergue below the beaded circle. The entire central device is encircled by a wreath of oak branches with acorns, tied at the base, with leafy sprays extending upward on both sides to frame the upper field.
