Descrizione del rovescio	An African elephant strides to the left in a naturalistic rendering, its characteristic domed head, large ear, and curved trunk clearly delineated. Four pellets arranged in a horizontal row occupy the exergual area beneath the elephant, serving as the value mark denoting the triens (one-third of an as). The composition is contained within a plain field, and the flan displays the irregular, somewhat rough surface characteristic of cast bronze coinage of the period.
